Appointments at Ace Medical Centre

Ace opening hours:

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturdays

Note: Saturday appointments will depend on doctors’ availability.

Appointments are made at 15 minute intervals.

If you feel you need more time with the Doctor, please let our reception staff know when making your appointment.

Longer consultations may be required for:

  • Procedures (excisions, sunspot removals etc.)
  • Multiple or Complex concerns
  • Completion of forms or Mental Health Issues and counselling sessions.
Home Visits
Home visits are available for patients who are unable to travel to the practice due to ill health and are provided at the discretion of the doctor. If you need a home visit please discuss with the reception staff
After-hours Care

GP After-hours Service is a fully bulk billed service that operates from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am.

Privacy Statement

This practice is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal health information. Your medical record is a confidential document and is the practice policy to maintain security of your health records at all times in accordance with the Privacy Act 1998.

Specialists

The practice works closely with both public and private specialist services and can arrange referrals or consultations using telehealth to reduce the need for patients to travel. The practice is also working towards visiting specialist services.

Results

Appointments need to be scheduled at the practice with the doctor to discuss/obtain your results (pathology, ultrasounds/x-rays and specialist report). Reception staff cannot discuss specific results with you.

Please take your ultrasound/x-ray with you when you leave the practice. You may need these for future appointments with other doctors/specialist to help with your health care.

CTG (Closing the Gap)

Ace Medical Centre is now signing up Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander patients for the Indigenous Health Incentive and Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme co-payment measure. This will provide better management for your Chronic Disease or Chronic Disease Risk Factors.
